This course will provide a guide advice for students in the landscape architecture and environmental planning field on writing an academic research paper or a professional technical report. It consists of a series of reading assignments, periodical meeting and writing essays. Students will be assigned a weekly writing assignment, and at the end of the term, they should have been able to finish a draft of their research on a general topic making use of the moves and techniques that they have learned from the course. In addition, they shall also be required to give a 10-minute oral presentation of their papers.
